I've been a professional musician and teacher for over 35 years. I am a graduate from the University of Minnesota and studied music at the University of St. Thomas when I was in high school. I've performed and recorded with numerous artists including the Temptations, Peter Noone ( Hermans Hermits ), The Shirelles, Martha Reeves, The Guess Who, Loverboy, Quiet Riot, Bobby Z, Billy McLaughlin, Presidential Inauguration 2005, L.T King, CBO, J. Hoye and many more. Received certificate of achievement from Billboard magazine for production and song writing, etc. Enough about me though...

Every student is different so I like to base lessons for each student upon their strengths and weaknesses. Some students are just beginning, others want to improve upon their skills. Some students want to learn more about classical music, others jazz improvisation, Rock & Roll, country, et.al. Others why music does what it does, how it works, what are the tricks. I prefer a relaxed approach as opposed to a very rigid style. My students don't feel as though they're in a classroom even though they are basically. Music should be fun and lessons should not be intimidating.
